Wednesday, June 5th: Tubing

Meet at 8am at Meizon Church

We will meet at the church at 8am and travel to Ichetucknee Springs to tube. Our goal is to make it early before the park potentially fills up. Ideally we will put in at Midpoint and Float to the South entrance. We will  return to the parking lot for a late lunch and a reapplication of sunscreen. Then put back in at Midpoint or Dampiers and Float to Dampiers or the South entrance before going home.

Some options for your adventure: you can bring a float or rent a float. Tube rentals range from $8-32 depending on size & style. You may also want to bring $8/person (over 5) to ride the tram. We highly recommend purchasing a tram ticket, otherwise it’s a ~0.65 mile walk from the parking lot to Midpoint Landing and a ~0.55 mile walk from the south entrance back to the parking lot.

Wednesday, June 19th

6pm-8pm; Meizon Church Commons

We will provide the ice cream if you bring your favorite toppings! While we are chilling out at the ice cream social, bring a board game or card game to play or catch up on the adventures your friends have been having this summer.

Wednesday, July 3rd

6pm-10pm; Flavet Field

Bring a picnic blanket and/or chairs and join us for some music and fireworks. There are food trucks on site, but you can also bring in your own food and/or snacks. This is such a fun time being part of the community.

Wednesday, July 17th

Meet at 9am at Meizon Church

We will meet at 9am at Meizon Church and head to Butler Beach together. Bring your buckets and shovels, maybe we will have a sandcastle building contest. Pastor Miranda will definitely be hoping to catch some waves while avoiding a sunburn! Butler Beach Park has some pavilions as well as bathrooms and showers for after our adventures. Be sure to pack your swimsuit, towel, as well as snacks and/or a lunch.

Wednesday, July 31st

6pm-9pm; Meizon Church Commons

We will pull out a projector and watch a movie (TBD). Feel free to bring snacks and maybe we will also have some popcorn available. Looking forward to sharing the summer with you!
